Thursday afternoon

Yesterday Tom gave a Ted talk on Honors Economics Curriculum.  It was unanimous that we would all like to take his class, so thorough and engaging.  Dinner was mac and cheese with chicken and broccoli.  Delicious, though Chef Jackie was not satisfied.  We all loved it and had seconds.  Weather and wind still perfect. Received GREAT news last night, Mary and Annie will join us in Horta! Cannot wait to see them.

Hope these pictures are adequate quality, we have to shrink them to download.

  1. I’m sure Jackies Mac & cheese was delicious.

  2. Although guys may favor mac & cheese, it’s obvious Jackie is ever mindful and feels responsible for her crew’s health. Perhaps nutrition content of M&C doesn’t meet her standards. Jackie, just look at the seven smiling faces around you. You’re an outstanding Chef!
Such a great job you’re doing with the pics. They come in really well and make us feel so good! Hope the great weather stays with you to Horta (and on). Love to All

  4. Glad to see your new hat, Michael. Much needed and looks like my hiking hat. Also,re: Tom plotting. I assume “plotting” is a nautical term, and Tom is not planning something nefarious? So glad that Mary and Annie will be meeting you in Horta. Give them a big hug from all of us.

  5. Greetings from remote Montana. Sat link to sat link. Writing to you at 8,000 feet surrounded by 500 head of cattle (I agreed to partake in a move from upper to lower ranch). I’m happily using my bandwidth to catch up with Moondance. Love love the pics (yaaaay for selfy stick!). Congratulations on making it to the halfway point (I chuckled at the ‘only halfway’ comment). Also impressed with your website/blog design skills out there down at sea level. Enjoy. 🙂

  7. Wonderful pictures. I enlarge them on my computer, Cam, so your Vavo can see them. Everyone looks so happy and relaxed. Glad the trip is going well. Guess we’re a little prejudice – loved the picture of Cam and Liz at the helm! Praying for your safety. Find the daily blog interesting.

  8. You have so many exciting and jaw-dropping photos, and each day is so event-filled though you wouldn’t think so with 11 days at sea going in a straight line (ha!). This is exactly the kind of feature I’d read in Sail mag or other publication. Who will submit the story??!! 😄
